Letter RE: Exchange of Financial Documents 

In my job as a paralegal I am often given the task of sorting through documentation and finding missing information or inconsistencies. Divorce cases tend to pose the biggest challenge due the highly contested nature of a divorce. 

In one of our cases the husband appeared to be misrepresenting his income, and I was told by my boss to examine the paperwork and write a letter to the opposing attorney stating what I had found. Writing a letter to another attorney requires a heavy appeal to logos, usually based on calculations of the opposing party's financial situation. The letter below is the final result of that project, with a few edits performed by my boss, Anita M. Kelley, Esq.
